Suzuki Marine USA Opens New Technical Center in Panama City

​Suzuki Marine USA, Inc. has announced the grand opening of its new Suzuki Marine Technical Center in Panama City, Florida. The state-of-the-art facility is located on a 20-acre waterfront property and includes a 9,037-square-foot main building with office space, conference rooms, technical/service bays, inside boat storage, and other important equipment. Other amenities of the property include additional buildings, a private launch ramp with docks, and a 300-foot protective seawall.

The Grand Opening event was attended by Suzuki staff from its Tampa, Florida corporate headquarters, select dealers and boatbuilding partners, local dignitaries, Suzuki Motor Corporation VIPs, and members of the boating press. Among those in attendance were Mr. Shuichi Mishima, Executive General Manager of Marine Operations for Suzuki Motor Corporation in Japan; State of Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis; and City of Panama City Mayor Greg Brudnicki.

We are grateful to the City of Panama City, Bay County, and the State of Florida for their support in making this project possible.”

The Suzuki Marine Technical Center will be used for a variety of purposes, including:

• Research and development of new outboard motors
• Testing of existing outboard motors
• Training of Suzuki dealers and technicians
• Customer support

​The opening of the Suzuki Marine Technical Center is a major milestone for Suzuki Marine USA. The facility will help the company to continue to innovate and improve its products, and it will also serve as a valuable resource for Suzuki dealers and customers.
