This weekend, the final round of the International Freeride Watercraft Association (IFWA) World Championship Tour, the Hydro-Turf Surf Slam, will take place at Pismo Beach, California. Giant swells, up to 12 feet high, are expected, and the 40 confirmed riders from all over the world are excited for the excellent conditions.
Hosted at Oceano Dunes SRVA, located 3 miles south of Pismo Beach, the event will feature top freeriders from France, Spain, Germany, Brazil, South Africa, and the United States, competing in both stand-up and runabout categories. Scheduled for October 19-21, the event will be part of the Oceano Dunes Beach Race weekend and will run in parallel with the WORCS motocross races and the fourth annual Smashing Pismo Beach Party.
