1. Remove and separate the whole jet pump from Jet Ski Sea Doo Polaris Or Honda
2. Remove the tail cone cap from stator pump.
3. Hold the rear end of shaft with a vise and remove the impeller with Impeller wrench. turning counter clock wise will loosen impeller.
4. Visually inspect thread on shaft & threads for wear or damage. Apply Anti-Sieze to threads.
5. Screw the impeller on by hand ( use gloves as some impellers have sharp edges). Tighten with impeller wrench.
6. Assemble the pump and put it back on Jet Ski.

Yamaha impeller instructions for removal and installation
On the Yamaha, The instructions are pretty much same as above. But, the driveshaft comes out with pump. You take the Yamaha Impeller Shaft holder tool and put it on the spline at the end of shaft and put in in vice. Then you will put a wrench on the impeller nose. Note: Yamaha use's left hand threads (turn clockwise to remove)
On Yamaha the drive line comes out with pump.

- Remove and seperate the whole jet pump from PWC.
- Hold the front end of the drive shaft with a SHAFT HOLDER on bench vise.
- Remove the impeller. Turning clockwise will loosen the impeller.
- Visually inspect thread on shaft & impeller for debris or damage. Apply grease or anti-seize on the thread before instalaition.
- Screw in the impeller by hand; please be careful of sharp edges of impeller. tighten with the impeller wrench. if the impeller feels to tight or not thread properly, unscrew the impeller, clean and check thread.
- Assemble the pump and refil pump with oil to spec.

To remove sea doo wear ring you can also use a Sawzaw to cut wear ring out. To install a new wear ring... Put the new wear ring in freezer and then it should shrink down and slide in easy.
