The National PWC Jamboree is back at Nashville Shores, Tennessee, for the weekend of May 21-23, 2004, following a successful event in 2003 that saw a turnout of over 275 participants. This three-day recreational event is designed to showcase the social and lifestyle aspects of PWC riding. The Jamboree offers a variety of games and challenges both on the shore and on the water, including the King of the Beach, Super Slalom Challenge, and Radar Gun Shootout. These competitions provide an opportunity for riders to test their skills and compete for the fastest slalom times and the chance to back up boasts about their PWCs' speed.
Additionally, family-friendly contests such as Wamilton's Sickest Trick competition, a freestyle event, and the Watercraft Olympics will be available for participants of all ages. The Watercraft Olympics will give families the chance to demonstrate their skills by navigating obstacles and performing tasks on the water.
The highlight of the weekend will be the PWC Poker Run, where participants will have a chance to explore the scenic J. Percy Priest Lake while collecting poker cards that could lead to some significant prizes.

Perry Performance Group proudly unveils the 2004 schedule of the Florgia PWC Rally Series. The series, which has gained immense popularity in Florida, is now venturing into Savannah, GA for the first time. The newly named Florgia PWC Rally Series, with the support of industry companies, will offer participants the ultimate watercraft weekend getaways, visiting several of the proven Florida favorites. With the event's increasing popularity, Perry Performance Group decided to expand the reach into the Eastern Seaboard allowing a greater number of PWC enthusiasts to experience these extraordinary events.
The 2004 series will feature a refined program that will showcase the best of the chosen venues and offer recreational watercraft owners with a bucket full of watercraft related activities over the weekends. The activities will include a guided tour of the area, Dream Demo Row, PPG Speed Alley, Freestyle Extravagancy, FRS Cookout hosted by PPG, Poker Run, and FRS Cantina.
Several of the events will offer expanded versions of the more popular activities, such as PPG's Speed Alley Shootout during the Sebastian rally at C-54, with an overall award of $500 for the fastest top speed. The Freestyle Extravaganza at the St. Pete Rally will take advantage of the stadium-like atmosphere of the Holiday In Sunspree Marina Resort, with Florida's top professional freestyle riders and show skiers from Cypress Gardens and Sea World performing.
The third rally, taking place in the middle of June, will be a one-day event with a "low carb" version of the regular rally, featuring a Poker Run and demos, followed by a beachside cookout. The newly crowned FRS overall champion will win a grand prize after the last hand is dealt.

As we approach the Watercraft World Twin Cities River Run ride down the Mississippi River, interest from both consumers and sponsors is increasing.
Presented by Polaris, the event will take place on July 19 and offer a scenic 60-mile tour of the upper Mississippi River in the form of a leisurely-paced Poker Run. While participants can win fabulous prizes, including an all-expenses-paid trip to Watercraft World's Dream Demo, this is a non-competitive recreational event. Participants will also receive a gift bag and have the opportunity to demo ride the latest watercraft from Polaris, Honda, Kawasaki, Sea-Doo, and Yamaha. Additionally, they can appear in both Watercraft World magazine and on the "Minnesota Bound" TV show. All that's required is a personal watercraft and the desire to win some excellent prizes.
The ride will launch from Hidden Falls Regional Park in St. Paul, Minn., in conjunction with the Minneapolis Aquatennial. Participants will travel just over 30 miles downstream on the Mississippi River and back, making stops at five checkpoints where they can draw one playing card at each. This is not a race, and participants can take their own time during the ride. Demo rides on the newest personal watercraft will be available at the launch site, and prizes will be awarded that afternoon.
Our magazine has ridden this route multiple times, including two weeks ago and a forthcoming scouting trip on June 19th to finalize the details.
