Seadoo Carburetor hesitation

I'm wondering if you can help me with a problem i'm having with my 97 seadoo SPX. Even after my Sea-Doo has run for a while, If i try to take off from and idle speed and "floor it"  it will hesitate before it actually takes off. Sometimes if I dont let off a little bit it will cut out. I was wondering if the carbs were running lean? I was also thinking of installing a primer kit to help it start. If I do this, How do I adjust the carbs> Also, can I lower the pop off pressure to 15psi, and do I do that by cutting one coil from spring at a time?

Kyle, It sounds like the pop off pressure in carburetor is to high or carb is dirty and you may be running to lean. Lower th pop-off pressure to 20psi by cutting one spring coil at a time. Installing a primer kit is a good idea and not only will help with starting, it will give better performance when butterfly's are removed. I would recommend richen the carb by turning the richen screw 1/4 turns out (counter clockwise). You might as well add some aftermarket air filters if you are to go this rout.
